When we make Resolutions,

 We think they are Solutions 

To better our lives.

 Most will be swept under the rug,;

But we must give ourselves a hug 

Each day 

In any way

Throughout each year 

As we hold dear 

To things that bring 

Peace, Comfort, and Truth, 

Which all Humanity deserves.

"When we practice kindness,

Truth will find us."

Wrapping up 2022

 What a busy, crazy year!

This is proof that you can get anything done, being isolated in the middle of nowhere.

What did I do this year in isolation out here at the Red Block?

Let's see:

Got a terminal degree

Ran for U.S. Congress

Wrote a book

Had a new short film that's screened at over 50 film festivals around the world

Made a film

Had the 4th season of our film festival in Los Angeles

Read and wrote daily

And a whole lot more!

What's lined up for 2023? Time will tell. Before 2022 ends, a lot needs to get done out here. This week, editing a new short film. Next week (the final week of the year) the book will be published. Have to get this Sondheim book read before the first of the year. Next year, plans include teaching new courses online; reading, writing and filmmaking; having the 5th season of our film festival in Los Angeles; writing 2 new books; making a new film; and much more.

This creative hub has been a long time in the making. It's pretty much been a creative hub for me these last 17 years. Now it's time to be a virtual, global hub for the world.

 Merry Christmas for Everyone?

Cold feet meet the pavement

Hands that are cold are told to stop hurting

Faces are cases of misery

Bodies shiver as Spirits quiver

They are cold and not so bold  as they sleep on the streets

They see the empty buildings that could keep them warm

They are homeless human beings

For those who pray 

For more than a few

Might want to say, 

"What would Jesus Do?"
